Campfire Stories Toasted Marshmallow Wax Melts
FREE shipping — hand-poured in our Kentucky shop, ships in 2–7 business days
Campfire Stories is toasted marshmallow, caramelized sugar. Campfire Stories is a marshmallow held too close to the coals, the outside gone golden-brown and a little blistered, the inside gone to liquid. It is sweet and smoky-edged without any actual smoke, so it smells like the good part of a campfire and not the part that gets in your hair.
Campfire Stories is a toasted marshmallow wax melt hand-poured in Rineyville, Kentucky, by Bluegrass Belle Wax and Wick. It comes as a 9 oz bag of shaped tarts or an 8 oz squeeze pouch, both $16.99 with free US shipping. Squeeze pouch wax color varies from batch to batch; the pouch in the photo shows one batch, and yours may be a different color. The scent is always the same. Our tarts are natural and plant-based; the squeeze pouch contains mineral oil and is not a natural product.
Where it shines: Evenings in the den, and fall porches with the door propped open.
Tarts or the squeeze pouch
The 9 oz bag of tarts is Campfire Stories in one of five shapes, tidy and easy to give. The 8 oz squeeze pouch is the newer style: a zip pouch with a spout full of soft wax you squeeze straight into the dish, stronger throw, zero crumbs. Pouch colors vary by batch; the scent does not. The pouch contains mineral oil and is not a natural product.
What we pour
- Tarts: coconut-soy wax blend and fragrance oil (ten percent). Natural and plant-based.
- Squeeze pouch: the same wax and oil, softened with mineral oil and tinted with wax dye. Mineral oil is petroleum-derived, so the pouch is not natural.
No paraffin, and despite how they look, none of it is food.
How to use it
Drop one or two tarts, or a squeeze from the pouch, into the dish of a wax warmer and switch it on. Expect eight to twelve hours of scent per tart. When it fades, let the wax cool and harden, pop it out, and add fresh wax. Every scent we pour is here.
Safety
Use only in a warmer made for wax melts, never leave one on unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. The NFPA home-fire-safety page covers warmers and candles alike. Tarts look like candy; they are not food.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does toasted marshmallow wax melt smell smoky?
No smoke, just the caramelized sugar you get on a well-toasted marshmallow. If you want more fire in it, melt one Campfire Stories tart with one Blowing Dandelions tart for a sandalwood edge.
Is Campfire Stories a kid-friendly scent?
The scent is, and kids love it. The warmer is not. Keep it up high and out of reach, and remember that tarts look like candy to a child and are not food.
How much wax goes in the warmer?
One tart, or a tablespoon-sized squeeze from the pouch. Marshmallow is a sweet, forward scent, so one is plenty for most rooms.
