Windowsill Pie Blueberry Wax Melts
FREE shipping — hand-poured in our Kentucky shop, ships in 2–7 business days
Windowsill Pie is wild blueberry, brown sugar, buttery crust, cinnamon. Windowsill Pie is a blueberry cobbler cooling where the breeze can get to it. Wild blueberries bubbling under a brown-sugar crust, a pinch of cinnamon, and enough butter in the top that you can smell it from the yard. It is a dessert scent, but a homemade one, not a candy one.
Windowsill Pie is a blueberry wax melt hand-poured in Rineyville, Kentucky, by Bluegrass Belle Wax and Wick. It comes as a 9 oz bag of shaped tarts or an 8 oz squeeze pouch, both $16.99 with free US shipping. Squeeze pouch wax color varies from batch to batch; the pouch in the photo shows one batch, and yours may be a different color. The scent is always the same. Our tarts are natural and plant-based; the squeeze pouch contains mineral oil and is not a natural product.
Where it shines: Kitchens and dining rooms, and the hour before company comes over.
Pick your style
- Wax tarts, 9 oz bag: Windowsill Pie poured into cowboy boots and hats, flowers, rounded squares, hearts, or boy-and-girl teddy bears. Break one or two off for the warmer.
- Squeeze pouch, 8 oz: the same scent as soft, scoopable wax in a zip pouch with a spout. Squeeze what you need straight into the dish; no breaking, no mess, and a stronger throw. Pouch colors vary by batch. Contains mineral oil; not a natural product.
What we pour
- Tarts: coconut-soy wax blend and fragrance oil (ten percent). Natural and plant-based.
- Squeeze pouch: the same wax and oil, softened with mineral oil and tinted with wax dye. Mineral oil is petroleum-derived, so the pouch is not natural.
No paraffin, and despite how they look, none of it is food.
How to use it
Drop one or two tarts, or a squeeze from the pouch, into the dish of a wax warmer and switch it on. Expect eight to twelve hours of scent per tart. When it fades, let the wax cool and harden, pop it out, and add fresh wax. Every scent we pour is here.
Safety
Use only in a warmer made for wax melts, never leave one on unattended, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. The NFPA home-fire-safety page covers warmers and candles alike. Tarts look like candy; they are not food.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does blueberry wax melt smell like real blueberries?
Like baked blueberries, which is the point. Raw blueberry has almost no smell; cooked with sugar and butter it turns deep and jammy, and that is what this is.
Is Windowsill Pie too sweet?
It is sweet, but the crust and cinnamon keep it from being cloying. If you want the blueberry with less sugar, Blueberry Muffin Top is a touch lighter and a little more cinnamon.
How do I get the most scent from a tart?
Use a warmer with a shallow dish, start with one tart, and give it fifteen minutes. Change the wax when the scent fades rather than adding more on top. A 9 oz bag runs a month or two of regular evenings.
